Aktyubrentgen JSC is one of the oldest manufacturers of X-ray equipment in the CIS, boasting a history of more than 80 years. The plant was founded in 1941 in Aktyubinsk, based on the evacuated Moscow X-ray Plant. By May 1942, the enterprise had already released its first products for the defense industry. In the post-war years, the plant pivoted to medical equipment manufacturing and subsequently became a leading specialized enterprise, supplying products not only across the USSR but also to more than 30 countries worldwide.

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the company faced severe economic challenges but managed to preserve its production and engineering expertise. In 1998, the plant was reorganized into a joint-stock company, marking the beginning of a new development phase. In the following years, production was modernized, and the output of advanced digital X-ray diagnostic machines and mobile medical complexes was launched. Today, the company produces a wide range of high-tech medical equipment and accounts for over 90% of supplies to Kazakhstan's domestic market.

Due to the nature of working with government orders, the company deals with seasonality and the need for upfront production financing. To ensure uninterrupted operations, Aktyubrentgen JSC secured a credit line from Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan for working capital. Under the Damu Fund program, part of the interest rate was subsidized, which reduced the financial burden and increased the company's stability.

This support enabled the timely purchase of components, the formation of production inventory, and the fulfillment of short-term delivery contracts. Additionally, the company has begun implementing projects to localize the production of medical equipment in collaboration with foreign partners, including the manufacturing of CT scanners and modern X-ray diagnostic systems. This strengthens the company's market position and contributes to the development of domestic medical engineering.

Today, the enterprise is not only firmly established but is also shaping the future of the national medical machinery industry, contributing significantly to the development of Kazakhstan's healthcare system.
