ABOUT THE PROJECT

What Participation in the “Central Asia Shelf in China” Project Offers

The project is implemented as part of the cooperation between Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC and NACOFEC. Its key advantage is China Co-op, a Chinese partner that supports participants at every stage of entering the Chinese market.

Who Can Participate
Small and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan interested in exporting their products to China, primarily manufacturers of food products and consumer goods.
Who Provides Support
The All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (China Co-op) handles product certification, logistics, marketing, placement in retail networks, and engagement with investors.

Participation Requirements

Financial Terms of the Project
  • A mandatory condition for participation is membership in NACOFEC, subject to payment of an annual membership fee of KZT 600,000.
  • For products supplied through the project, participants are required to remit 10% of the profit generated from product sales under the project.
  • The participation requirements, implementation stages, and market-entry mechanism are explained in detail during the presentation meeting — the organizers will answer participants’ questions before they make a decision on payment of the membership fee.

A presentation meeting on the “Central Asia Shelf in China” project was held with representatives of NACOFEC, with the support of the Shymkent City Akimat. Approximately 100 entrepreneurs from various industries took part in the event.
