«Every gift should have its own story» says entrepreneur Evgeny Anatolyevich Goncharov from the Pavlodar region. In 2019, he founded the unique workshop «Papa Carlo» where today they create not just household items, but true family heirlooms rich in national character.

        For a long time, creating complex Kazakh ornaments on wood was associated with significant challenges: either it required months of painstaking manual work, making the products extremely expensive, or the market had to settle for mass-produced imports lacking soul and individuality.

        Evgeny Anatolyevich decided to change this situation and localize production by introducing modern machinery and laser technologies into the process. Thus, the “Papa Carlo” workshop was established — a production facility with no analogues in the region in terms of precision and flexibility.

        A major step in the business development was seeking government support. The project was approved and funded through Bank CenterCredit, with additional support from the Damu Fund. These funds were invested in high-precision innovative equipment.

        Today, the range of activities at «Papa Carlo» is not limited — the workshop helps everyone find something special:

·      Gifts and souvenirs made according to individual customer designs.

·      Corporate products that emphasize the status and cultural identity of the region.

        Thanks to the support of the fund and entrepreneurial initiative, residents of the Pavlodar region and other areas have gained access to premium-quality products made on their native land. «Papa Carlo» has proven that high technology does not replace the craftsman, but empowers them to tell the story of their people even more vividly and precisely.
