The story of Zarina Ismukhambetova is a consistent journey from individual entrepreneurship to building a sustainable business. Starting in 2017 with the production of fruit and vegetable preserves and technical services, she spent several years deeply studying the industry and establishing business connections. In 2022–2023, after analyzing the market, she focused on high-demand tomato products, a decision confirmed by successful pilot sales. The desire to create high-quality products, love for her work, and a commitment to benefiting society became the main motivation for launching her own business. In March 2024, the company “CANNERY” was founded with an initial capital of approximately 20 million tenge, focusing on natural raw materials and import substitution. Despite the challenges of the launch phase, the business quickly grew: today, the company produces more than 20 types of products, including sauces, tomatoes, fruit drinks, compotes, and juices. The team has expanded from 4 to 15 employees, and the company is present both in the domestic market and exports to Uzbekistan. Currently, “CANNERY” continues to grow, planning the construction of a modern processing facility to produce high-quality and competitive products.

Special attention should be given to the role of government support. Under the “Guaranteeing within GF-1” program, the Damu Fund provided the company with preferential financing and a loan guarantee, which was issued through JSC “Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan.” This support made it possible to increase working capital and accelerate business development, which is especially important at the scaling stage.

Zarina Ismukhambetova herself summarizes her approach succinctly: «Goal + Team + Resources = Success». Judging by the company’s growth динамика, this formula has already proven its effectiveness.
