The story of entrepreneur Zarina Sadykovna is a vivid example of how personal experience and a sincere desire to help loved ones can become the foundation for building a востребованный and socially significant business.

The idea of opening an ophthalmology clinic did not emerge by chance. It all began with concern for her children’s health: although Zarina Sadykovna herself had no vision problems, her children were diagnosed with myopia at primary school age. Over time, regular check-ups revealed a gradual deterioration in their eyesight. This prompted her to delve deeply into the issue of myopia control in children and explore effective ways to slow its progression.

A deeper understanding of the subject revealed alarming global trends: according to international studies, by 2050, vision impairments may affect up to half of the world’s population. It was at this point that a clear vision emerged—to establish a modern medical center focused on diagnosing and treating eye diseases in both children and adults.

In 2023, after deciding to leave employment, Zarina Sadykovna, together with her spouse, embarked on launching their own business. Following a comprehensive analysis of various entrepreneurial opportunities, they chose the medical field—an area of high social importance and stable demand.

Relying on their personal savings and real estate assets, the family made a well-considered decision to invest in opening the clinic. To secure financing, Zarina Sadykovna applied to Bank CenterCredit JSC, making use of government support measures. After preparing a business plan and gathering the required documentation, she independently submitted her application and received support from the Entrepreneurship Development Fund “Damu” under the National Project for Entrepreneurship Development for 2021–2025 through an interest rate subsidy instrument.

After acquiring the premises, completing renovation works, installing modern medical equipment, and obtaining all necessary permits, the AZIZ-Group ophthalmology clinic began operations in June 2024. At the initial stage, a diagnostic department serving both adults and children was launched.

As demand for high-tech medical services—particularly in eye microsurgery—grew, the need to expand operations and equip a surgical unit became evident. However, the high cost of specialized equipment required additional financing.

In 2025, while exploring further development opportunities, Zarina Sadykovna learned about the “Orleu” preferential lending program offered by the Damu Fund, with a final interest rate of 12.6% per annum. To obtain financing, she once again approached Bank CenterCredit JSC. During the project review, the issue of insufficient collateral arose, which led her to simultaneously utilize the guarantee instrument under Guarantee Fund No. 1 of the Damu Fund.

Thanks to the comprehensive use of government support measures, the clinic successfully launched its laser vision correction department in October 2025.

Today, the AZIZ-Group clinic provides a wide range of medical services—from comprehensive vision diagnostics to high-tech surgical procedures, including laser vision correction, cataract phacoemulsification, outpatient microsurgery, and various laser treatments.

Zarina Sadykovna’s story clearly demonstrates that with a well-defined goal, a systematic approach, and a commitment to continuous development, even complex and capital-intensive projects can be successfully implemented. The AZIZ-Group clinic not only delivers high-quality medical services but also makes a significant contribution to improving access to modern ophthalmological care for the population.
