The story of “Sochinskoe Agro” began in 2020 with a simple yet powerful idea — to produce high-quality meat products from natural raw materials. The founder and director, Marina Kondratenko, a professional meat processing technologist, decided to start her own business in a region where livestock farming has traditionally played an important role.

The start was modest: one employee and a small thermal chamber. From the very beginning, the company focused on quality: only locally raised meat is used in production, and the products undergo natural wood smoking. One of the signature products, the “Sochinskaya sausage,” quickly gained the trust of customers.

Within a few years, “Sochinskoe Agro” demonstrated steady growth: revenue increased fivefold, and the team expanded from one to five employees. An important milestone was participation in the “One Village — One Product” program, where the company became a finalist in 2023.

A major breakthrough came in 2025: the company received a state grant of 5 million tenge, as well as a loan guarantee of 35 million tenge through the Damu Fund. These funds made it possible to purchase modern equipment — a universal thermal chamber — which tripled production capacity, and to реконstruct a large production facility.

Today, the company’s products are available in more than 50 retail outlets in the city of Atbasar and the Atbasar district. The ассортимент includes sausages, smoked meat delicacies, and frozen semi-finished products.

The company is not stopping there. Its near-term plans include entering the markets of Astana and Kokshetau with up to one ton of finished products per month, as well as opening branded stores in these cities.

Despite early-stage financial challenges, thanks to the support of the Damu Fund, the company has not only strengthened its position but also reached a new level of development.

The team’s guiding principle is:
“Whatever happens, happens for the best!”

Marina Kondratenko’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple and sincere:
“Do not be afraid of difficulties. Keep moving forward!”

The story of “Sochinskoe Agro” is a clear example of how professionalism, perseverance, and belief in one’s work can turn a small start into a stable and growing business.
