Founded in 2023 out of initial curiosity, this business has grown into one of the key projects contributing to the development of domestic production. The founder, Yermek Akylbekuly, developed an interest in the woodworking industry and traveled to the People’s Republic of China to thoroughly study production processes and gain hands-on experience. During this trip, he had the idea: “Why not establish such production in our own country?”

Thus, he decided to launch the production of veneer, plywood, and various wood-based panels in Kazakhstan.

Having mastered the field in detail, Yermek Akylbekuly set a goal to supply the domestic market with high-quality products. As a result, Qazaq.kaz became one of the first enterprises in the Almaty region to offer a wide range of wood products to consumers.

Although the company faced various challenges at the early stages, perseverance, continuous effort, and family support helped it establish a stable development path.

Government support also played a significant role. In 2025, the enterprise received financial support at a 12.6% rate under the “Orleu” program of the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund, which enabled it to expand production capacity and strengthen its material and technical base.

Today, Qazaq.kaz not only supplies the domestic market with quality products but is also exploring opportunities to increase production volumes and enter export markets.

This initiative is a meaningful contribution to the growth of the national economy. In the future, the company aims to improve product quality and become a competitive brand in the international market.
