The Kazakh people have always treated their history with great respect, honoring and remembering their ancestors. It is customary among Kazakhs to know their lineage up to seven generations back, naming each forefather by name. As the Kazakh proverb says: “A person who does not know their seven ancestors will care for the concerns of seven strangers.”
“Zheti Ata” (Seven Generations) is the genealogical lineage of the Kazakh people, also known as Shezhire.

Traditionally, Shezhire was preserved and passed down orally, listing ancestors through the direct male line. In modern society, Shezhire has retained its importance, primarily as a form of cultural heritage and identity.

The project was supported by the Damu Fund under the first direction of the “National Entrepreneurship Development Project for 2021–2025” through subsidy and guarantee instruments.

According to Zhamsiya Sultanbekkyzy, the mission of the business is to restore, preserve, and develop the ancestral traditions of the Kazakh people at a modern level, continuing them in a completely new format for future generations.
