The story of Gofra Box is an example of how a small manufacturing business can grow into a modern enterprise through hard work, a strong team, and belief in its mission.

The company began operations in 2019. The founder of the enterprise was Oksana Nikolaevna Oshurova, who had worked in the packaging industry for many years before deciding to start her own business. Everything started with a small warehouse, a single machine, one office, and a team of 10 employees.

The production facility was located in a rented building without heating or proper working conditions, but this did not stop the company’s development. From the very first days, the team independently handled the entire process — from manufacturing boxes to loading and delivering orders.

After a difficult period in 2021, the company was fully taken over by Alina Biryukova. Despite the challenges and pressure, she and her team decided not only to preserve the business, but also to take it to a new level.

One of the first important decisions was the purchase of the company’s own грузовой vehicle, which significantly reduced the high costs of rented transportation. Later, the company purchased a land plot and began construction of its own production facility.

Government support also played an important role in the company’s further development. Gofra Box received financing from ForteBank with the support of the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the “Orleu” program, with a final interest rate of 12.6%. Thanks to this financing, the company was able to complete the construction of its production workshop and purchase modern equipment.

Today, Gofra Box manufactures corrugated packaging for restaurants, pharmaceutical companies, delivery services, and major brands. The company’s clients include Magnum Cash & Carry, SMALL, Knauf, and other manufacturing enterprises.

While the company started with just one office and 10 employees, today Gofra Box employs 35 people. The enterprise consistently produces up to 350–400 square meters of products and continues to expand its production capacity.

The company focuses not only on quality and production speed, but also on environmental responsibility. Cardboard packaging is environmentally friendly, recyclable, and reusable.

Today, Gofra Box is a modern Kazakhstani manufacturing company that continues to grow together with its team and clients.
