Long before the creation of its own brand, in 2006, Anton Sergeyevich Akulov took his first step in the furniture business. At that time, it was a small workshop, work in the form of individual entrepreneurship, and a strong desire to create something meaningful — furniture that does not simply fill a space, but makes it cozy, alive, and full of meaning.
In 2010, the company entered a new stage of development: the team was expanded and the first furniture showroom was opened in the city of Petropavlovsk. This became an important step toward strengthening its position in the local market and increasing brand recognition.
By 2016, the business had developed into a fully structured company — LLP “Cittadella” was officially registered, along with the company’s trademark. By that time, the team already included strong specialists united by shared values, experience, and a commitment to quality.
Gradually, the small production grew. With each new order and each satisfied customer, the company’s reputation strengthened. LLP “Cittadella” focused not on quantity, but on quality and an individual approach — creating furniture that precisely matches a person’s expectations, space, and lifestyle.
Years passed, and the company continued to grow. One person turned into a team — first small, then strong and cohesive, now numbering dozens of specialists. Today it employs around 50 to 80 people, united by a shared vision and responsibility for results.
Retail showrooms were opened in Petropavlovsk — not just one, but four. The company’s products expanded beyond the city, securing their place in the market across Kazakhstan. This was made possible by important decisions: developing its own production, expanding sales channels, and acquiring its own manufacturing facility.
A particularly important role in the company’s development was played by government support. At a certain point, it became the very resource that allowed the company to reach a new level and strengthen its position.
Cooperation with the “Damu” Fund and JSC “Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan” opened new opportunities for the company. Support measures from the “Damu” Fund played a key role: interest rate subsidies and guarantees. These mechanisms significantly reduced the financial burden and made credit resources more accessible. Thanks to these tools, LLP “Cittadella” was able to purchase its own production facility, upgrade equipment, and significantly strengthen its manufacturing base. In 2026, within the framework of the “Isker Aimaq” program, financing was attracted through JSC “Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan” to replenish working capital. This helped maintain operational stability and ensure further growth.
As a result, the company not only expanded production but also strengthened its financial stability, creating a solid foundation for further development and confident forward movement.
The path was not easy. There were periods of financial shortages, staffing challenges, economic crises, and unstable demand. But each challenge became a point of growth rather than a stopping point.
Today, LLP “Cittadella” is not just a furniture manufacturer. It is a brand with character, history, and a reputation proven over time. The company remains faithful to its core principle: quality and reputation matter more than quick profit.
But perhaps the main achievement is not the numbers or scale. It is the understanding that a strong business is built not on the control of one person, but on a system, a team, and trust.
Ahead lie new horizons: automation, digital solutions, expansion of the product range, and strengthening positions in the Kazakhstan market. But the essence remains the same — to create furniture that combines beauty, functionality, and soul.
