Starting July 21, a Financial Literacy Marathon will be held in 14 cities across Kazakhstan, featuring financial expert Dmitry Kazantsev. The educational initiative aims to improve financial literacy among the public, promote responsible personal financial management, and equip participants with practical skills for making informed financial decisions.

In today's rapidly evolving economic environment, financial literacy has become an essential component of personal financial well-being. The ability to effectively manage income and expenses, build savings, assess financial risks, and make informed investment decisions enables individuals to achieve greater financial stability and confidently plan for the future.

Throughout the marathon, participants will gain practical knowledge and expert insights into personal finance management. The program covers a wide range of topics relevant to everyday financial decision-making and long-term financial planning.

Participants will learn:

how to effectively plan personal and family budgets;

where to begin building savings and creating an emergency fund;

how compound interest works and how it can contribute to long-term wealth accumulation;

the key differences between bank deposits, bonds, stocks, and other financial instruments;

how to recognize common financial fraud schemes and protect personal assets;

how to avoid excessive debt and develop healthy financial habits.

The program will also include practical case studies, real-life examples, and expert recommendations to help participants better understand common financial challenges and strengthen their financial resilience.

At the end of the event, participants will have the opportunity to test their newly acquired knowledge by taking part in an interactive quiz, with prizes awarded to the winners.
