Sometimes, the beginning of a great endeavor can be very simple. In 2011, Gulbanu Sarimanova decided to improve her yard and make paving blocks herself. To do this, she purchased a concrete mixer and several molds. At the time, it was simply a small project for her own home. Over time, however, it became the foundation of her entrepreneurial journey.

Gulbanu made her first paving blocks for her own yard. She was pleased with the result, and soon her neighbors began showing interest in the products. The first orders followed, then new customers — and gradually, the small initiative began to grow into a business of its own.

Realizing that professional knowledge was essential for further development, the entrepreneur began studying concrete product manufacturing technologies in greater depth. To expand her knowledge, she traveled to Samarkand, where she studied modern technologies, concrete compositions and additives, as well as concrete production methods.

Over time, production became more than just a business for her — it became work she is genuinely passionate about. Today, Gulbanu continues to develop in the field of concrete product manufacturing, paying particular attention to equipment, machinery and modern technologies.

An important part of her story is her decision to enter an industry traditionally considered a male-dominated field. Gulbanu, however, believes that professionalism, knowledge and the desire to develop have nothing to do with gender. Through her own example, she demonstrates that women can successfully work in manufacturing, manage a business, master modern technologies and take responsibility for the development of an enterprise.

Over the years, the production gradually expanded: output increased and the customer base grew. This, in turn, created a need for modern equipment that could improve both productivity and product quality.

In April 2026, the project of Sariman IE received state support from the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC under the Guarantee Fund 1 program. Financing was provided through Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC.

The support from the Damu Fund became an important milestone in the development of the enterprise, enabling the entrepreneur to implement plans to modernize production and acquire modern equipment.

Today, the enterprise operates a modern press production line capable of producing up to 300–400 square meters of paving blocks per day. In addition to paving blocks, the company manufactures curbs, drainage trays and other concrete products.

Modern pressing technology makes it possible to produce high-density, durable products with consistent quality. As a result, demand for the company's products continues to grow. Sariman IE's customers include companies and entrepreneurs working in the construction industry.

Back in 2011, Gulbanu Sarimanova could not have imagined that a small idea for improving her own yard would one day lead to the creation of a modern production facility, the acquisition of new equipment and cooperation with companies and entrepreneurs.

More than 15 years of entrepreneurship have become a continuous journey of learning, development and discovering new opportunities for Gulbanu Sarimanova. She continues to monitor developments in the industry, study new technologies and seek to introduce modern solutions into production. For her, business is not simply a source of income, but a venture built through her own hard work, knowledge and perseverance.

The story of Sariman IE is an example of how a small idea can eventually grow into a serious manufacturing business when it is supported by hard work, self-belief and a commitment to continuous development.
