Lake Alakol has long become one of the popular holiday destinations in Kazakhstan and the CIS countries. Tourists are attracted by its nature, healing climate and the opportunity to relax by the water at an affordable price. You can get here by plane, train, bus or car.

On the left bank of the lake, in the village of Akshi, Alakol district, there is a recreation area "Tumar Resort ". Her story began in 2018, when entrepreneur Orazbaeva Alua Erkebulanovna acquired a land plot just 150 meters from the lake.

On this site, the entrepreneur built a recreation area and gradually began to develop a tourist site. Every year the flow of guests grew, and with it the requirements for living conditions changed.

By 2023, it became apparent that the facility needed updating and expansion. The entrepreneur decided to carry out modernization: repair the premises, update the infrastructure and build a summer cafe.

An important stage of development was financial support from Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC. In 2025, Mega Trans IP received financing through Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC within the framework of the National Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship for 2021-2025.

Thanks to state support, the entrepreneur was able to reduce part of the remuneration rate to 8.8% per annum. The funds raised were used to modernize the facility, repair, and purchase new equipment and furniture.

The update made it possible to create more comfortable conditions for guests and increase the number of vacationers. Today, Tumar Resort has standard and luxury rooms with a total capacity of 180 people.
