In 2016, Shoira Pulatova started her entrepreneurial journey. She built her business around something she truly loved — confectionery. The product range of IE “GOLDEN SWEETS” gradually expanded to include buns, rolls, cakes, pastries, pies, and sponge cakes. Shoira paid particular attention not only to the taste of her products but also to their appearance, striving to create original and memorable desserts.

As the number of orders grew, the entrepreneur faced a new challenge — increasing production capacity and upgrading the equipment. The existing equipment was no longer sufficient to implement new ideas and handle the growing volume of orders. Modern professional equipment required significant investment, while her own funds were insufficient to purchase it.

Shoira Pulatova decided not to postpone her business development plans and opted for loan financing, understanding that investment in production would help take her business to the next level. It was an important and responsible step for the entrepreneur, but her confidence in her abilities and the strong demand for her products encouraged her to move forward.

In 2026, IE “GOLDEN SWEETS” planned to further expand and modernize its confectionery workshop in the city of Taraz. To achieve this goal, the entrepreneur applied to Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan for financing under the “Isker Aiymaq” Programme, supported by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund “Damu”. Thanks to the “Damu” Fund’s guarantee and interest rate subsidization, the project received the necessary financing terms for implementation.

The acquisition of modern equipment became an important milestone in the development of the business. The new equipment made it possible to increase productivity, improve product quality, and expand the range of confectionery products. It also opened up new opportunities for Shoira to bring her creative ideas to life and develop original desserts.

The first cakes and pastries made using the new equipment and decorated with sophisticated designs quickly attracted customers’ attention. Customers appreciated the quality, taste, and individual approach, while positive feedback became the best form of advertising for the business. Thanks to recommendations from regular customers, the number of orders continued to grow.

Today, “GOLDEN SWEETS” is an example of how a small idea can gradually grow into a developing business.
