e success story of individual entrepreneur Roza Arykova began with a relocation and a desire to provide the best opportunities for her children. Before moving to Aktau, Roza lived in Astana. After returning to her hometown, she noticed that, in her opinion, the quality of educational and developmental services had hardly changed. She was not satisfied with the existing kindergartens, educational and speech therapy centres, which encouraged her to create the environment she felt was needed herself. Roza started developing her project from home, investing 1 million tenge of her own funds at the initial stage. She understood that a child’s comprehensive development involves not only knowledge and learning, but also physical development, including gross motor skills. Therefore, from the very beginning, her goal was to create a space for the comprehensive development of children. Gradually, other parents learned about the centre. First, one group was formed, followed by a second, and soon there was not enough space in the apartment. To continue accepting children, Roza opened an additional office, renovated it and worked there for about six months. It was during this period that children with speech and psychomotor developmental delays (SDD and PSDD) and other developmental needs began coming to the centre. Wanting to better understand the needs of her young clients, Roza began studying neuropsychology, nutritional science and other related fields. She completed training in psychology, neuropsychology, osteopathy, massage therapy and sensory integration. Tomatis Therapy holds a special place in the centre’s work. To gain expertise in this method, Roza completed specialised training in France and acquired a franchise. Today, the centre uses modern corrective and technology-based methods, with an individual approach tailored to each child.

In 2024, with the support of the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the interest rate subsidy programme within the framework of Government Resolution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roza acquired her own premises for the centre. This enabled her to expand the team and increase the number of children receiving services. Today, the centre operates at full capacity, with appointments booked in advance.

As the business has grown, Roza has also placed particular emphasis on developing her team. For the past two years, she has been inviting supervisors from Almaty at her own expense to provide two-week professional training for her specialists. The entrepreneur notes that finding, training and retaining qualified specialists is challenging, which is why she now focuses not only on professional development but also on building long-term cooperation within the team. The next stage of development is business expansion. Roza’s plans include increasing the number of employees, further expanding the centre and developing a franchise model.

Today, Roza’s project is a modern neurodevelopment centre providing comprehensive support for children in the areas of ABA, adaptive physical education, speech and psychomotor developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorders, as well as offering speech therapy and massage services. The entrepreneur continues to develop her team and scale the business, confidently moving forward.
