Makhanov Yerdos Kassymovich is an entrepreneur from Aktobe and the founder of a furniture manufacturing company specializing in the production of furniture facades and custom-made cabinet furniture. His story demonstrates how attentiveness to market needs, persistence, and consistent development can transform a small production workshop into a modern full-cycle manufacturing enterprise. Yerdos began his entrepreneurial journey at the end of 2019. At that time, he was working on a rotational basis. His friends were engaged in furniture manufacturing, and it was during this period that he noticed a recurring problem faced by furniture manufacturers — furniture facades often had to be ordered from third-party suppliers. At that time, there were only a few companies in Aktobe specializing specifically in the production of furniture facades. This led to the idea of establishing his own production facility and occupying an available niche in the market. The first step was taken at the end of 2019: a production facility was rented, three machines were purchased, and a team of four people was formed. The first orders came from friends and acquaintances, which helped generate word-of-mouth referrals. As the company’s reputation grew, so did the number of orders.

At the initial stage, the entrepreneur had to independently create the necessary conditions for the production facility to operate efficiently. In particular, a dedicated electrical line was installed to ensure a stable power supply and uninterrupted operation of the equipment. In 2021, a second facility with an area of 230 square meters was purchased and converted into a painting workshop. Then, in 2022, the total production area was expanded to 440 square meters. This expansion made it possible to organize production more efficiently and divide the main areas of work: one workshop was dedicated to manufacturing furniture facades with film coatings, while the second was used for painting operations. The next important milestone came in 2023. The company completely relocated its equipment to the second workshop that had been purchased earlier. This made it possible to optimize production processes, use the available space more efficiently, and create a solid foundation for further growth. In 2025, two additional pieces of equipment were purchased, and part of the existing equipment was upgraded. This modernization expanded the company’s production capabilities, improved the precision of material processing, and enabled the company to fulfill a wider range of orders. Today, the company has evolved from a small workshop primarily focused on the production of furniture facades into a manufacturing enterprise capable of carrying out virtually all stages of furniture production. The company provides a full range of services, including design, material cutting and processing, edge banding, drilling, CNC milling and engraving, furniture facade production, vacuum lamination, as well as the manufacturing and assembly of cabinet furniture. One of the key principles of Yerdos Kassymovich’s work remains a strong commitment to quality and meeting deadlines. The entrepreneur considers these principles to be the foundation of customer trust and the continued development of the business.

Government support has also played an important role in the development of the enterprise. Financing for the development of the production facility was obtained through Bank CenterCredit JSC with the support of the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund. The funds received were used to purchase equipment, strengthen the company’s material and technical resources, and further develop the enterprise.
