Entrepreneur from Tekelee has opened a bakery and pastry shop with the support of the Damu Fund

A resident of small town Tekelee in Almaty region Natalia Krupnova in the framework of the Damu Fund program of support SME business engaged in the manufacturing industry has opened bakery and pastry shop.

The entrepreneur received concessional loan from ForteBank in the amount of 15 million tenge with 6% interest rate and purchased required equipment for baking and pastry production.

Mrs. Krupnova is engaged in a business for over 15 years and she is owner of a grocery shop “Solnyshko”. The shop is located in residential district and is very popular among locals.

“While step by step extending opportunities of our business we decided to launch own production of bakery and pastry products so we could sell them in our shop. Thanks to Damu fund we manage to realize our plans. With a loan we got from the fund we conducted refurbishment of our building, extended shopping area, purchased bakery and pastry equipment” – said Natalia Krupnova.

The shop hired professionals in baking bread, cookies and cakes. Products of the bakery are very popular among residents who got opportunity to buy freshly baked products.

The entrepreneur has no intention to dwell on achievements. She plans to increase bakery and pastry production and sell them not only in her own shop but also in other retail stores.
